FACULTY

The Enki Program is directed by, Beth Sutton, M.Ed. As well, Beth is the core teacher. She is certified in several states and is also Waldorf Certified. She has been a teacher and director of schools and camps over the last 38 years, and is experienced in Traditional, Experimental, Integrated Day and Waldorf approaches. She is the mother of three grown children and grandmother of one.

Each summer Beth has been joined by different graduates of the Enki Program and other professionals with expertise in specific areas. These have included:

Marguerite Sands, MA Art Education and Waldorf certified. She has taught in Waldorf schools and using the Enki approach at the Shambhala Elementary and Middle Schools, using the Enki approach, for the last 10 years.

Erika Berland Certified Practitioner of Body-Mind Centering(tm), a Registered Movement Therapist and Licensed Massage Therapist who maintains a private practice in NYC. She has an extensive background as a dancer and teacher and has taught movement workshops throughout the U.S. and Europe. In addition she has been a teacher and Instructor of meditation in the Shambhala Buddhist Tradition for over 15 years. She is the parent of a teenager.

Kaeli Sutton is the founder and director of Motion Center, where she teaches individual and group dance, yoga, and Dynamic Movement Education classes. She is certified by the National Yoga Alliance and Ishta Yoga of New York, and is also certified to teach Gyrokinesis. Kaeli has studied dance and yoga for the past 15 years, including two years in West Africa. Additionally, Kaeli trained at the Muscular Therapy Institute in Cambridge Massachussetts and is a licensed massage therapist. She is the parent of an infant.

Barbara Berry, M.F.A. Studio artist. Painting teacher for 6 years, Parent of two.
