Each Enki Resource Library is just that: an
extensive collection of stories, songs, and activities for teaching
a given subject through the arts, movement, and storytelling. Both
classroom and homeschooling resources can be a strong support for
anyone wishing to work with an
arts integrated approach to teaching,
regardless of what system or pedagogy they are working with.
In this library all the materials have been
carefully written, chosen, and adapted to meet the children’s
developmental needs, and to bring them a direct experience of the
world view shared by Enki Education and described throughout this
site. Each “mini-library” contains ample amounts of
material to allow parents and teachers to choose the selections
that will best meet their child(ren). As is true in any library,
the goal is of these classroom and homeschooling resources is to
give you the opportunity to select the most suitable materials,
not to teach them all. Libraries come in loose leaf form so
that each teacher can regroup the material to best serve her unique
needs. Those wishing to purchase several books
will find significant savings in our Grade
Level Curriculum Packages.
The Resource Libraries contain a brief overview
of the philosophical reasons for the particular stories and activities
contained in them, but they do not include in-depth philosophy,
or specific instruction on how or when to teach this material.
This information can be found in detail in the Enki
Teaching Guides and Grade Level Packages.
