Beginning Soprano Recorder:
Grades One to Three
Resource Libraries

Recorder is the instrument that most directly extends our singing into instrumental music. This makes it an excellent way to begin learning to play music. In the Enki approach we begin with the soprano recorder, establishing correct fingering and breathing techniques that will last a lifetime.

This collection includes instruction for the adult to learn and teach recorder, as well as recorder songs for the first three grades, moving from pentatonic scales in grades one and two, to the full diatonic scales in grade three. Stories for introducing recorder and anchoring the child in proper breathing techniques are also included. Video instruction is found on our Instruction Manual DVD, available only with the full Grade Level Packages, Audio CD and Sheet music included.

Grade Two through Five Curriculum Packages are not available at this time. Therefore, until such time as complete packages become available, purchase of individual materials from within the same package will be counted toward purchase of that package. (click here for further information).
