The Enki Education homeschool
curriculum is unique among the many
high quality curriculum resources on the market. These
include:
Oak Meadow
Charlotte
Mason,
and Michael Olaf’s Montessori Company.
Oak Meadow brings
forward one perspective on Waldorf-inspired
programs,
offering a structured series of artistic lesson
plans to guide the parent through the daily challenge of homeschooling.
The program offered by Oak Meadow is academically a bit ahead
of traditional Waldorf education. Charlotte Mason takes
a holistic approach that is often used to supplement other
curricula.
Olaf’s Montessori for homeschoolers provides guidance
on Montessori materials and activities for children aged three
to twelve.
The Enki homeschooling
materials draw on the
timeless wisdom embodied in stories, legends and arts found
in traditional
cultures around the world. We also are informed by several
well-respected approaches to education, child development,
and teacher education.
The Enki homeschool
resources include Teaching Guides provide
the philosophical and pedagogical framework to guide both
classroom
and homeschool
teachers
in their work. Our Resource Libraries provide the teacher
with
an extensive collection of stories, songs, and activities
from which to draw, as she develops lessons which will
meet the
needs of the children before her. These are the paints
the teacher uses to create her own work of art. |
