GRADE
|
SCIENCE
The science program encourages
children to see the world through their own eyes and stand
in wonder at what they see. It is this sense of wonder that
will keep their inquisitiveness alive and help them use
all they learn with care for the world around them.
|
MOVEMENT ARTS
Sports and Games
Movement arts are integrated into academic
classes and developed in specific lessons. Development of
rhythm, balance, coordination and spatial awareness is emphasized,
along with sportsmanship and a sense of community
|
MUSIC
Music is an integral part of all classes
throughout the grades, bringing to life the flavor of the
many cultures and themes studied. Both singing and recorder
playing allow the children to extend their understanding of
their studies and join together to celebrate.
